Business Support / Virtual Assistance

Bringing creativity and systems together for spectacular results.

Do you have more tasks on your to-do list than hours in the day? Or have you reached a “tipping point” where you know your efforts could move faster if you just stopped micromanaging everything…

Wrdplay provides “people-first” business management support for overwhelmed teams, helping you spend wisely to preserve both your time and your mental energy. Having worked within fast-paced international businesses, I understand and appreciate a good systematic approach, the need for reliable proactivity, and the importance of how a business presents itself to potential clients and partners.

With straightforward project rates, Wrdplay can support you with a more cost-effective method of managing your efforts until you regain control of your processes or hire permanent team members.

Here's how Wrdplay can make your life easier.

As a virtual operations manager and business support specialist, I’ve amassed a useful mix of skills, experience, and qualifications from my varied professional background. Here are a few examples of tasks Wrdplay can help with:

It’s challenging to have all the right systems in place with limited time, knowledge, and resources. So Wrdplay helps you by getting to the heart of your business and matching your efforts with effective words and efficient actions that accurately reflect your business targets.

Whether you need temporary all-round operations support, or one-off pieces of strategic advice to get you up and running, we have a solution for most situations. Companies who choose to work with Wrdplay can build up their level of support, based on what they need at the time – our business scales with your business.

Although Wrdplay is London-based, Melody has worked with businesses from around the world, and across the private, public, and non-profit sectors.

I work on a retainer (either by the day or a set of hours), and I’m available for a maximum of 3 days per week for up to 3 months. With an advance agreement, there may be an option to extend to 6 months.

Please note that retainers will need to be paid in advance on a fortnightly or monthly basis, depending on preference and suitability.

For a calculation to suit your business goals, it’s much easier if you get in touch for a quote.

Yes, but you’ll need to be reasonably clear about what you need help with. If you’re struggling to pinpoint something specific (which can be as simple as, “please help me untangle this mess!”) you’re likely to find the process frustrating until you have more clarity.

Well, it’s all semantics!

A virtual assistant can be as involved or as light-touch as you specify. However, you’ll find that most VAs deal with tasks that are closer to what you would expect from a traditional PA or secretary.

As an experienced business support manager from a corporate background with an advanced degree and further certifications, I deal with more tactical and specialist activities that need a person with a particular skill set.
